A verbal dispute escalated, and Deyounks allegedly produced a knife and sliced up his new girlfriend's face and neck. He then took off for Jacksonville, police say.
The FBI and the U.S. Marshall Service then determined he'd left Jacksonville and headed south, to West Palm Beach, where authorities were waiting for him.Fort Lauderdale fugitive detectives, the PBSO, and the FBI Fugitive Task Force found their guy holed up in a house on Palisades Drive and took him into custody without incident. He's currently residing -- without bond -- at the Broward County Jail.
