- With its pilots on strike, Miramar-based discount airline Spirit has canceled flights through Tuesday, forcing local air travelers to scramble for another way to get to their destinations. [CBS4]

- A Broward County law that allows for the termination of a dog after just one incident of it biting a person or attacking another dog will come up for review Monday by a county committee. Animal protection activists are hoping that the policy is relaxed so that it can be in line with the state policy, which destroys a dog after three incidents. [WPLG-10]
