Holy Water Incident Evaporates

The prayers of local Christian leaders have been answered -- if not by God himself, then at least by investigators with the Broward Sheriff's Office. That's because two Blanche Ely High School teachers accused of harassing an atheist teacher have been reinstated.

The South Florida Times reports that BSO investigators told the school district that there was no reason to continue keeping the accused teachers, Djuna Robinson and Leslie Rainier, on administrative leave. A source also tells the paper that Robinson and Rainier are likely to learn this week that they won't be charged based on concerns that their discussion about religion and the earthquake in Haiti caused the Blanche Ely students psychological harm.
