NYC Union Guys in Trouble for Dropping 10-Large at the Breakers Palm Beach

​Yeah, I know $10,000 at the Breakers is barely enough to tip the bellhop, but still. Union leaders are expected to be judicious with their share of the workin' folks' wages. Also, it doesn't help that much if the District Council of Carpenters' leadership is already under criminal indictment.

Judging by this article in the New York Daily News, the union leaders were actually feeling thrifty during their stay in Palm Beach, where they spent $9,552. This crew spent more than $13,000 on a single dinner in Manhattan and more than $20,000 at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
