A nonprofit environmental firm says that the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the gulf is similar to the one that occurred more than 30 years ago in Mexico's Bay of Cempeche. Those experts have faith that advances in technology will make it possible to limit the spill's effect on fragile ecosystems and tourist industries. [Miami Herald]
A psychologist on NBC's Today Show says that 15-year-old Wayne Treacy suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder following the suicide of his older brother. Also, it's been revealed that his victim, 15-year-old Josie Lou Ratley, sent a text message that said, "go visit ur dead brother" in the hours before the March 17 attack. [Sun-Sentinel]
