A search has been launched for a 14-year-old girl, Jainy Santos-Ramos, who is said to be a "habitual runaway." The girl's father first reported that the girl disappeared on January 25. She returned on February 3, only to vanish again that night. Santos-Ramos, who lived in unincorporated Broward, hasn't been seen since.

From the news release by Broward Sheriff's Office:
Jainy is a white female who measures about 5'7" in height, weighs about 120 lbs., and has brown, collar-length hair and green eyes. She was last seen in the Ft. Lauderdale area and has been known to frequent the water creek on SW 25th Street, between SW 41 Avenue and the Riverland Park.
Anyone with information about Jainy's whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Missing Persons Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4240. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Broward Crime Stoppers by calling 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
Here's hoping this one ends as anti-climactically as the other missing child report this week.
