Dania Beach Woman Drowns at 50th Birthday Party

After celebrating her 50th birthday last night, Apryl Flanigan took her dogs for a walk in the backyard of her Dania Beach home. But she never came back. Her family found her floating in the canal near her home. CPR failed to revive her.
The Broward Sheriff's Office release indicates the cause of death is believed to be an accidental drowning, but the Broward Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to confirm.
