Victims Identified in Boynton Shooting
Benton Lineau is the name of the man who was driving a gold Lincoln Navigator last night, when he was shot in the chest, say Boynton Beach Police. The 23-year-old, who crashed into a home on the 2000 block of Northeast 3rd Street, died later at Delray Trauma Center.
Police were investigating that shooting, when they learned that another shooting victim had been unceremoniously deposited at Bethesda Memorial Hospital by "someone driving a 1997 four-door beige Toyota," according to a police statement. That victim, who remains in serious condition at Delray Trauma Center, has been identified as Dieuny Pasius, a 19-year-old resident of Ocean Parkway in Boynton.

Witnesses told police that they heard multiple gunshots coming from the 2000 block of Northeast Third Street. Police are looking into several motives for the shooting.Considering that a gun was found in the Lincoln Navigator, one possibility is that Lineau and Pasius were both shooting at each other from opposite cars. But we'll know more as investigators gather tips.
