Auction was interesting and especially entertaining for me because I ran into a friend who, unbeknowst to me, has been posting on this blog. We had a very good laugh over that discovery.

Other than that, it was uneventful. There were some good deals on some stuff, but most of it had memorabilia value only which I question. Some of the office furniture was nice and there was a good deal on a marble conference room table.

The closing statement was submitted to the City of Fort Lauderdale when H.O.M.E.S. applied for funding there. I don't think it is online but the city clerk should have it. It would be over a year ago and I know that the former mayor brought it up at the time. He also may have saved a copy. This site talks about an FBI hotline for mortgage loan fraud, like saying you are going to live in five or six homes at the same time so that you can get favorable loan terms.

Fannie and Freddie were set up to help folks with homeownership. These guys were using it for invester loans.

I think Keechl may lose his law licence for this and perhaps Adcock his real estate license.

This kind of fraud is what has coused our economic crisis with the government backed mortgage meltdown. They had very little at risk, because we ths taxpayers were backing their investor loans. Then when property values head south, we are holding the bag.

I agree and I also think he can reduce his sentence thru some other areas mentioned in the Prisoner Orientation Handbook I previously posted, if you read it carefully. It is a little confusing to me but perhaps A/F/Lawyer can sort those "good" time parts out.

My old friend Mitchell who was released from fed prison not too long ago, says it is a complex formula and there is an "administrative variable' that the BOP can use to push/pull sentence length.

No problem. I was going to write in my previous comment to you before you just responsed. It's very dangerous to assume. I usually address the persona I am commenting about or making a comment to. Keep that in mind.

I think more importtant than 20 millions worth of jewelry is the money spread all over, it is a myth that the Feds can track everything and everybody...we like to think so but it doesn't always works that way. May be now that The policies of secrecy in Swiss bank accounts are getting tighter they might be able to find some long lost money. I think the Feds should look into the virgin islands, SR took a few trips over there.

So, he could not rent it for $1900, so he rented it to the campaign for $3100 plus tax...oh thats right, he forgot to remit the sales tax.

How is this not taking a pay off? His campaign cortributors give him big contributions, he has no opponent, he uses the funds to pay his morgage and property taxes on a property he got two mortgages on,(even though they may have been fraud because the were govrnment backed residential loans)he is big time upside down on the propety, and the folks that depend on him to vote on their items at the county are paying the bills. And why is this guy not in jail?

kk was in the new age shop where that guy I talk about had a display store. The guy had private labeled his product. This guy realized the whole way he got into the store and the owners and employees involved was a set up to make him go broke and ruin his professional liscense with the FL medical board.
He said they used their gay network to do him in. The guys neighborhood association was almost all gay and his neighbors were listening on his phone. Everywhere he called they interfered in his calls and business since 2005. All the people were instructed to say the same thing to him and about him. They kept calling the police to his street and mothers condo.
It was great to see Americas most wanted do a piece on Ben Novak. They were doing exactly what happened to Ben to him. The same people were involved.
He was being held prisoner against his will because they were stealing from him. SR was just a piece of the technique.
Pulp is doing a great job covering this, however the guy has nothing and will be in the street shortly. They have kept him from selling or renting his building. All the real estate agents he has signed were kept from helping him. Those girls that took the mortgage out on his family trust nothing was done to them. He had to dump that condo because of what those girls did.
This whole group needs to be removed from society it is beyond criminal what they have done.
This guy knows better than to blame all gay people for what this group here in Broward has done. The head of the Broward GLBT was also involved.
This needs to be reported. Not one penny from any of these gay national organizations should be given to FL until this is cleaned up.

I think you guys/gals should check out that place on Cordova. They will prob give you a free pitcher of beer if you tell them you are bloggers on the Pulp they advertise on. They advertise these amazing huge tv screens they have to watch the game. Then you can go to Waxy O'Connor's and all the other joints in that area of town.

1/24/10 - Alleged Ponzi scheme mastermind Barry Tannenbaum is apparently renting an apartment in an Australian suburb called Runaway Bay, the Sunday Times reported.

The newspaper said Tannenbaum's Johannesburg-based lawyer Darryl Ackerman confirmed Tannenbaum's location in the waterfront suburb located on Australia's Gold Coast.

Last November, it was reported that Tannenbaum - who is accused of fleecing investors of R12.5 billion - had fled his home in St Ives in Sydney, Australia, out of safety concerns.

Ackerman told the newspaper that Tannenbaum and his wife, Debbie, had received death threats while staying in St Ives.

As Anon said above, Fed Employees are banned from using cell phones while driving Fed vehicles. If the BSO driving was in the midst of a call, I am sure that will play a role in determining who is ultimately at fault.
