His lawyer, Marc Nurik, also got into the act, saying:
"All this nonsense that he is somehow hanging out with the government -- he is free. I don't know where all this stuff is coming from. I have him hidden. I'm not going to tell anybody where, including the government. I don't know where people are coming up with this stuff. I have been discussing his case with the government as any defense counsel would under
these circumstances. I have been in contact with the government. My client is at an undisclosed location of my choosing, and he is talking to no one but me. He hasn't even met with his family."
Even in the brief time they had on the phone with the Herald, Rothstein and Nurik couldn't get their stories straight -- Nurik said they hadn't really been smoking cigars because he didn't want anyone to think they were having a good time.
I'm going to let Rothstein and Nurik have their day, but I'm going to tell you to take it with a grain of salt. Funny how he had the time to talk on a Sunday, isn't it?

It would be nice for the FBI to charge Scotty-boy today so his new close personal friend Marc can be charged with aiding, abetting and harboring a fugitive. There are some laws that kick in here that take the matter out of Floridas Jurisdiction.
The flatbeds are pulling cars from the crib like an episode of one of those reality shows.
More worrisome is when they pull firearms out of the crib. That is sorta like a warning signal that something is coming your way and we don't want you getting the feeling that you can challenge it from the other side of a long gun.

The firm employed alot of secretaries, paralegals, and other innocent support staff that were every-day working people that are now paying the price for SR's greed. Even among the attorneys, more that half of them were not 'partner' level attorneys that should have known better.
