All the news reports say SR fled on 10/30, that he argued in the office with a lawyer on Friday morning. The Miami Herald website has a photo right now on the homepage that is of SR at Levinson's Jeweler's showing off a million bucks worth of his gaudy wrist watches on Thursday afternoon (10/29). One question for all ...... is there a single political scandal in Broward that does not have either Eggeletion, Gallagher, Kraft, Geller, Ritter, or Wasserman-Rubin, or all of them, involved with it? If he thought Rothstein was such an asshole from day one as he now tells you,why he did he spend so much time over the past few years publicly joined to Rothstein's hip as Scott moved through the Republican circles collecting vast sums of money for the candidates that he and Roger backed and Roger worked for as a consultant? And if he was convinced a year ago that Rothstein's money was stolen, why didn't he do the right thing and make a call to the feds? Maybe its because he was an eager and willing enabler just like the rest of Scott's "friends" and "shareholders" and he is playing you and the rest of the media for fools, just as he has been doing since the Nixon era. No matter how much we may agree with Stone's critique of Empty Chair Charlie, its the pot calling the kettle black at its worst, and you have far more integrity than to be a mouthpiece for Mr. Stone. For someone like Stone to complain about corrupt politics after he has made his living from corrupt politicians for so many years is laughable. There is a good reason that he has based his operations out of Scott's firm for the past years, and its not because of the weather in South Florida.

In my opinion every lawyer that worked for him (particularly the partners)and every person who invested with him is a moron. They all wanted to ride the train with no questions asked. Disgusting.

Just Sayn', you are right! These intelligent attorneys hired by Scott believed that the money he was throwing around was legit, because of all the companies you mentioned- not to mention, Bova? And didn't he own some night clubs at one point? Cafe Iguana possibly? It's beside the point... These attorneys were obviously blinded by the money and by the fact that they were joining a team of so many other competent colleagues. There's no denying that the firm SR managed to put together would have been an absolute powerhouse, had it been legit.

It's just sad that he had to screw over so many good, innocent people. Maybe these lawyers turned a blind eye to SR's fists full of money, but they certainly didn't fathom the types of things that are coming out now... You have to be a creative little sucker to come up with this scheme! Let's talk about that evening at dinner time. The setting was Bova's on Las Olas. Unknown to all, there was two FBI agents dining at the joint when they observe some most unusual activity. The bodyguards are heard saying we want our money (must of been some casual loan). Rothstein gets on the mobile telephone and calls his Sheriff Al Lamberti (the Sheriff that took $200,000.00 of other peoples money Scott ripped off). Next thing you know BSO high ranking corrupt puppets show up in the City of Fort Lauderdales jurisdiction and state that they are only there to observe. What type of CROCK OF SHIT is SHERIFF LAMBERT pulling on the public? Rothstein owns Lamberti, but know matter how much money he had, he does not have more power than the voters of Broward County.

Lets talk about the tragic murder of the lawyer in Rothsteins office. Murdered by Rothsteins bookeepers enstranged husband the whole entire thing now does not pass the smell test.

IRS and FBI grabbed about 40 boxes of stuff last night. Now the squirming will really begin. Who gets nervous and runs to the Feds to cut a deal? my dearest family and friends,

Is it really possible that another year has passed??? Each year as I sit to write this message to you, I truly can not believe that it has been a year since I last wrote to all of you. A day can seem like an eternity….and then in the blink of an eye another year flashes by…..and as I look back and reflect on the past year, I am sadly disappointed in myself. I made a commitment to all of you to do better….to be a better person…..to make sure I was there when you needed me….to spend more time with you…to keep my word…...yet as I ponder the year that it has been, I can only surmise that I have failed in so many ways.

While I love all of you with all my heart and all my soul, I have not done as well as I had hoped I would in showing it. Though each year I make a promise to each of you….and a promise to myself and a promise to G-d to improve in so many ways…..i find that I fail more than I succeed….that I falter more than I grow….and that makes me sad. I so want to be a better person. Yet I get so caught up in the things that do not matter, I forget the things that are truly important…..and I do not want to go on like this….i do not want my life to continue on this path….so it is in this spirit that I write to you again.

From sundown last night through an hour after sundown tonight, Jews around the world observe the holiest day of the year…Yom Kippur….the day of atonement.

During this solemn time, in addition to fasting for 25 hours and observing other commandments meant to bring about a true sense of repentance, we spend most of the time in temple, praying for forgiveness and asking G-d to inscribe us and seal us in the book of life for another year.

However, on Yom Kippur, our repentance through fasting and observance of the holy commandments….and through our begging for forgiveness through our prayers…only allow us the opportunity to be forgiven for our sins against G-d. And, G-d willing, G-d gives us the strength to seek forgiveness for sins against our family and friends and others against whom we have sinned. In Judaism, the only way to be forgiven for sins against our family and friends and others is to ask them directly for forgiveness and to be forgiven.

So, once again, as another year has sped by, I come to you in this spirit….with true and sincere repentance in my heart and soul….and I ask all of you to forgive me for the sins that I have committed against you.

I have lied, I have hurt you, I have hurt your feelings, I have not been there when you needed me, I have put less important things before those most important….i have done little to improve myself and I have been selfish with my time…..i made promises to each of you and broke them….i put money before things so much more important…..i have wasted so much of a year….i have wasted so much of the precious time that G-d has given me….i am ashamed…..i have committed sins knowingly and unknowingly….and for all these sins I beg your forgiveness.

Last year I begged your forgiveness for many of the same sins….and I am so very disgusted with myself that I sit here today having made little if any improvement since last year. I have gotten so caught up in my own little world that I have forgotten about you….how important you are to my life….how much you mean to me…..the best of intentions…..they all mean nothing when you do not even attempt to change. I am sorry that I have been such a disappointment to so many of you. As I reflect back on the year I wish I could wave a magic wand and fix so many of the things I did wrong or handled poorly….but I can not….i can only move forward and pray that with G-d’s help…and with your help….that I can be a better husband, father, son, grandson, cousin, uncle, and friend. i fear that I have failed all of you in so many ways that I do not know where to begin….so it is with all of this weighing heavy on my heart and my soul….and in the solemn spirit of Yom Kippur…that I beg your forgiveness for all my sins against you….for my failures…for my shortcomings….for my selfishness….i beg you to forgive me.

I wish all of you a lifetime filled with health happiness love and peace….
