Scano Conrade Sinclair is a 28-year-old man from Miramar who Broward Sheriff's Office investigators say tried to rob a Palm Beach County man, failing and losing his cell phone in the process. This is the point where Sinclair probably should have stopped his campaign.
Instead, investigators say Scano and a buddy then sneaked into the bedroom of that man's girlfriend, Lindsey.
From the BSO release:
On Oct. 20, a 25-year-old Tamarac woman was sleeping in her bedroom when she was awakened by two men standing over her with guns pointing in her face. They demanded cash, which she gave them. They apparently entered the house through an unlocked front door. Surveillance video in Lindsey's gated neighborhood captured the robbers in a silver, four-door Mercedes sedan, which they tracked to a home in Miramar. It just knocks me out how many thieves drive luxury cars. I suppose they lease, then realize they can't afford them. Need the cash fast. Robberies ensue.
Back to the release:
Detectives have obtained a warrant for Sinclair's arrest for armed robbery and are looking to arrest him.
Anyone with information about Sinclair's whereabouts can contact BSO Robbery Detective Tony Hierrezuelo at 954-321-4270 or report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Broward County at 954-493-TIPS or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
