Boynton's Own Ghost Tower: An Empty Promenade

• Boynton sucks. In 1998 they were supposedly starting the massive beautifulcation project and all we got was some paver and steet lamps. Then the condo tower wars began - build high they yelled and we will have a great town. CRA is a joke and the current commission is a joke. By the way I do not live in BB and I am not a real estater. I used to work there and could not wait to get out b/c it was frankly an embarassing address. Boynton cannot decide whether Congress is "city-center" or Fed Hwy. How much is being exchanged (fill in own opinion as to $$$ etc) moving city hall to the vacant monster they approved off Gateway and Congress that nobody seems interested in either. So move city hall and build another empty building on the property GREAT URBAN PLANNING!!!!

• they are starting closings on Mar 3,2010 they sold 100 of the residents parking spaces what's that all about

• have any of these units sold at the promenade i have been and are interested in purchasing. the prices are reduced but not greatly from the original asking and the building has NO sign of life although the realtor suggests otherwise. any info??

• Just got back from attending the Boston College vs Notre Dame football game on Sat (10/24) BC lost :>(( To Tom's remark "Victoria is indeed a long time Boynton resident who just happens to be a real estate broker too!" I say, "And your point is?" My Florida Broker's real estate license is kept current and in good standing because I respond to the many real estate requests which come to our Company's websites. I have cared about Boynton Beach long before I was a real estate professional or the CFO of our Castello Cities Internet Network, Inc. www.ccin.com Some one who really researched me found that I was in the minutes of the Boynton Beach City Council as far back as 1960. And Tom, I didn't make a mistake... our present Boynton Beach City Commission was the Boynton Beach City Council back then. Now is the time for all good men and women who care about their City to become vigilant not divisive.

• We can all thank the CRA and our tax hungry officials for turning a friendly costal town into just another S. Florida S#*thole. Nice Work team!

• Sure Boynton is the ONLY place in SF with empty condos. Lots of negative press about Boynton's redevelopment area the last week. That public relations firm is really paying off (with your tax dollars of course). But hey who needs to be Politically Correct in todays ethical vacuum?!! Maybe the market is the problem. Ya think?!

• Interesting all the attention on little ole Boynton lately. Like we are the only city in S. Florida with empty condos. Sounds like a well funded (maybe with tax dollars) smear campaign. Hmmm.... follow the money. That's how the FBI catches the rats!

• Victoria is indeed a long time Boynton resident who just happens to be a real estate broker too! One of the reasons I moved out of Boynton after living there for 15 years was the unbridled development that has stripped any sense of identity from this once charming town.

• You are comparing apples to oranges. It is just a matter of time until buyers realize the LOCATION is still "old Florida" and within walking distance of the very best beaches and entertainment.
