Animal Cruelty Activists Will Picket Pageant

• TO NANCY: WE ARE NOT ZEALOTS. WE HAPPEN TO BE MUCH MORE COMPASSIONATE ABOUT THOSE THAT CANNOT SAY WHAT HURTS. CARING FOR ANIMALS IN A POSITIVE WAY ALWAYS BENEFITS THE COMMUNITY IN THE LONG RUN. NO MORE UNWANTED PUPPIES & KITTENS IF OWNERS TOOK THE RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THEM NEUTERED/SPAYED WHEN DECIDING TO HAVE A PET. AS FOR NOT EATING MEAT.....YOU SAVE A LOT MORE MONEY ON YOUR FOOD BILL, STAY HEALTHIER AND KEEP EXTRA WEIGHT OFF. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WAYS CUT COST IN THIS RECESSION MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP EATING ANIMALS!

• I think it's pretty sorry when we are in a recession that some people feel the need to ruin things for others because not everyone believes the way they do. In this economy finding sponsors for anything is not an easy task. If people don't want to eat meat or wear fur it's their perogative not to. But they need to leave others to live their own lives as well. We already have an overload of people without jobs and losing homes. We have H1N1 to worry about on top of the economy. What we don't need are zealots trying to close down furriers, lose farmers and ranchers, and other businesses that will put even more people on the street. Stop being selfish and help to get our country back on it's feet instead of trying to knock it down further over a sponsor you don't like!
