Will Tea Party-Types Take Their Show on the Phone?

• Dear Mr.TF Google sent me to your site and I will never return. I felt like I was tuning into the low-life ED SHOW or Morning Joe on MSNBC. I fear you may be spending too much time at some of your less classy sponsors establishments and too little time getting yourself un-confused. Read the bill. If you had elderly parents or grandparents they would be ashamed that you are blindly drinking the cool aid! What can you expect from a person with two first names! As for your implication that Glen Beck is not sane all I can say is "it takes one to know one!" As for the Town Hall Meeting, In keeping with the theme of your website, your piece should have been titled "Debbie doesn't do Weston" Cheers!

• Beck isn't insane, No. -It's ignorant wannabe reporters like Thomas Francis, who think socialist healthcare is better than what we have, who are INSANE. Instead of actualy LISTENING to the concerns of people who have actually read and understand the consequences of this bill, ignoramuses like him just make fun of anyone for getting angry when their right to be heard is taken away...like by having a wimpy ass "telephone meeting", or basically, a conference call. She's lost and better not expect my vote in 2010. Nor any of my friends, relatives, facebook pals, co-workers, etc.

• This is what passes for journalism nowadays? No wonder newspapers are losing circulation hand-over-fist. At least the much-hated Glenn Beck has some content and opinions on his show, (whether you agree or not) instead of just a barely cohesive rant about the dirty peasants that disagree with him.

• It a shame that new times can't find writers who know what they're talking about. Glen Beck was initially against the tea parties. Its obvious the write knows nothing about his positions, which are largely the positions that were held by the great men who founded this country.

• By "Tea-Party Types" do you mean Americans who have actually read the Constitution? People who disagree with the redistribution of 700 billion in taxpayer money to Democratic Party special interests? Its entertaining to find people, like the author if this piece of garbage, who are so willing to expose their ignorance and bias.

• Wasserman-Schultz knows that 45% of the people are against her, so why face them? What we need to do is get that number over 50% so we can get rid of her. It should be easier now.

• Debbie is a coward. Many calls to her office net the same result. She will vote with the Obama/Pelosi cartel and follow their orders. What is good for the seniors in her district ala rationing of care is not important to her. Getting the posh office, earmarks that sound good in newsletters (but rarely impact the life of an average citizen) are. Make no mistake about it, she is sucking at the Pelosi teet of perks. There is very little difference to what we see here and what we all experienced in the 10th grade. I will repeat, Debbie is a coward. If she is intent upon taking us down this road, she at least owes us the opportunity to confront her. Politicians who will not face those who pay their salary need to be fired.

• I guess it never occurred to Ms. Wasserman-Schultz and/or her staff to hold her very important town hall meeting in a larger venue. In reply to Ibrihim Handler, Ms. Wasserman-Schultz's job is not to represent your/her/anyone's "Jewish heritage", but rather to represent her constituency.

• Another example of the Congress not wanting the hear what THE PEOPLE have to say about their waste and playing at our expense. If you can't take the heat, get out of our government ...

• She's a wimp. A Congresswoman afraid to face her own constituents. Pathetic.

• Is Thomas Francis a paid contributor? His partisan blabbering certainly bears no semblance to journalism. I'm always amused by people like him; and I can never quite figure out if its downright stupidity, blindness or if they're just plain clowns. Wasserman Schultz is the worst of the worst partisan politicians, and she needs to do telephone town halls because she operates against the best interests of her constituents. The "earmark queen" brags about funneling 40 million in taxpayer money earmarks to her special interests (yeah, those police need new laptops) when people in her district can't afford food. Her main interests are women's issues, breast cancer and her position in the democratic party. She couldn't give a rat's butt about the tourism or real estate industries, or the plight of her constituents who rely on the health of those industries for their livelihoods. What does transferring taxpayer dollars to the sugar industry and for toys for the police do to help the small businesses which dominate employment for her constituents? Zero. It shows what morons the voters of Broward are.

• I am ashamed that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is allowing herself to be intimidated. She is poorly representing our Jewish heritage, and I am sickened by her lack of faith in our district, and her failure in her responsibility to meet with those of us who contributed to her, and who voted for her.
