In Carolina, Former Miramar Football Coach Finds More Money, Fewer Wins
Palmieri is now the football coach of the high school in Mallard Creek, a town outside Charlotte. And according to this article in the Charlotte Observer, he's had a rough time of it. That team won its first nine games, only to be busted for fielding an ineligible player, meaning it had to forfeit those nine wins and costing the team a berth in the playoffs.
Still, it's evident that Palmieri's a turnaround specialist. The year before last, his first as coach, the team went 1-9. His record in Miramar: 24-6.
