According to the federal prosecutor's news release, Kopras set up trust accounts at Wachovia Bank that were supposed to be for his mentally disabled cousin. But prosecutors say Kopras withdrew more than $250,000 for his own use. Here's the federal prosecutor's news release.
Kopras, 46, currently lives in Cincinnati. But he'll be moving into the Big House come October 28. That's when he's scheduled to be sentenced for conviction on two counts of wire fraud, which carries a max penalty of 20 years.
