According to police, Gonzalez was driving north on SW 27th Avenue, turning right to go east on West Davie Boulevard.
The victim was crossing West Davie Boulevard in a north bound direction just east of the Southwest 27 Avenue and West Davie Boulevard intersection when the accident occurred.From the release:
