Streaking: hilarious at sporting events; near major roadways, not so much

On a day when sister cities are in the news, a cautionary tale comes to us from Wellington. Not the city in Palm Beach County, mind you, but the one in New Zealand.

It's a short story, but vivid. A man was streaking. Until he was hit by a bus.

To the great credit of New Zealand's Wellington population, the first few reader comments deal with the high-minded subject of what constitutes sufficient signage and how the lack of it may be to blame for the accident. Inevitably, another commenter boiled the matter down to two words: "Darwin Theory."
