Frank Joseph Connor II
Every single Circuit City has closed, because the Great Depression has caused us to stop buying ginormous television sets. The company hired a Fort Lauderdale man named Frank Joseph Connor II to help liquidate the merchandise at its store in Tredyffrin Township, Pa., just north of Philadelphia. But "liquidate" does not mean you are free to load laptops into the trunk of your 2004 Corvette, as Connor is alleged to have done. Nope, that's called theft, and considering the woebegone condition of American retail stores, it's borderline looting.
