The only reason the mainstream media attacked Howard Dean, was because it was part of a pointed effort to take the peace candidate out of the picture in the Democratic primaries. Just like the reason that people are attacking Cara Jennings is to stifle any attempt at shouting for peace.

• As someone who edits video, I think someone took a lot of time to edit this one over and over again showing the same thing. I think that when you are being put upon by any three men - but especially three policemen - anything you do to draw attention to yourself so they don't beat you is wise. I think that a lot of people are fed up with the antics of the Israeli government, after Gaza. And, that more and more people will be doing civil disobedience against Israel. And, more and more people will be admiring people who try to draw attention to the injustice of the Israeli government. My husband is Jewish. And, we are progressives. For many years we have played a careful balance of wanting to support Israel, though, realizing that there is injustice there. And, that the injustice boomerangs back at America. After the last Gaza strike, neither of us could help being more firm in our position that Israel must stop the occupation. And, America must stop shoveling military resources to Israel.
