McCain Picks Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin
Or at least that's what they are reporting. I was on Barry Epstein's radio show when the news came across the wire and said on the air that McCain, like Obama, had picked someone to shore up his weaknesses. Since he was old and crotchety, I said, I would imagine she's young and attractive. I had never seen her but boy was I right:
Yes, that's Palin. She's 42 now, with five kids, glasses, pantsuits, and pulled up hair, but she's still very MILF-y. Interesting choice -- and one that I think shows that the McCain camp knows they are the underdog. Also underscores what I've been thinking for some time: This is going to be the best presidential race ever.
