Sun-Sentinel Pop Up Leads To Pop Off

• Speaking of registration systems (and the first commenter was): What is it with Gannett sites that you can only read one story on them, but if you want to read another, they force you to fill out a form (ditto Advance newspapers)? At least their <i>USA Today</i> leaves us alone. (And another thing: Why are Gannett and Tribune newspaper sites <b>so</b> homogenized?)

• Agree on the pbpost ads - those things are incredibly intrusive. As for blogging, keep it up! This site rules!

• People "adapted" to outhouses, too!! :)

• Hey Pulp - I remember the days when you used to (claim to) be an investigative journalist, or even just a journalist. Your pieces were interesting and entertaining. I also have enjoyed your blog. I'm still waiting for the tell-all on AG, the Cuban Cougar of the courthouse, but I suspect that is still tied up with the lawyers and I'm willing to be patient a few more weeks. But damn man. Of late you've just turned into a newspaper/media critic instead of a journalist or commentator. One of the most boring things to read about are newspapermen talking about the newspaper business. Why don't you comment on something more relevant than the printed newspaper -- such as buggy whips or the steam engine. Both of them are just as topical and relevant. Or on days when there isn't something newsworthy to report on, just don't blog. It can be the twice weekly Pulp instead of the daily Pulp. But for goodness sake, enough with reporting about newspaper guys quitting their jobs and the state of the Sentinel website. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

• lol. I guess you guys don't read the pbpost, which loves to post ads that take up half of the homepage. You load the page, and next thing you know the whole screen is automatically scrolling down to make way for the wal-mart super sale announcement. but by far the most irritating is the herald's registration system.
