this is totally unrelated to anything but something funny that might be worth riffing on sometime is the pbpost's wikipedia entry. check out the "notable personnel" section. nothing about distinguished past and current employees like michael browning, bill rose, pulitzer winner liz balmaseda or national book award winner peter dexter. instead? pat crowley, the illustrator and "creative director." that's a real head scratcher. gee, i wonder who authored this wikipedia entry.

True...It's a business decision. But...You couldn't exactly say it's an expansion of Randi's speech. Could you?

The Clinton tentacles reach a long way.

I should think their recent tax returns and business dealings (and the as yet undisclosed Clinton Library donations) as well as the real history of the Clinton Years rather than the overly-romantic nostalgia and false-memories would be enough to convince people to shift their sentiments away from them and toward Obama. (Personally, I'd have preferred Dennis Kucinich, whose own speech enabling him to get out his message was obstructed by limiting his access to some of the later debates in at least one case by a private news organization close to Hillary. But what can you do? This is America. Not as good or fair as it likes to tell itself it is and promote itself as being. The Monetary Royalists as FDR called them still rule. Hopefully, not for much longer.)
