WPLG Calls For Naugle To Resign

• Wait. Is Senator (for now, at least) Larry Craig going to show up and back Naugle, pointing to his own recent bathroom snafu as proof positive of Naugle's claims about gay sex and public plumbing?

• From a recent online article in the Sun-Sentinel, the Mayor has nationwide "support" for his efforts. Emails have flooded into his office from the four corners of the nation. My personal favorite is from Robert Moon of Fort Worth. "It's time us straight people started taking our country back from these sick people and make them either get help for their disease or go to jail." Good grief... What's next on the agenda? The resurrection of debtor's jail? Obviously intolerance is alive and well in Texas -- as if that was ever in doubt. I wonder if Moon's version of Monopoly has the following card. "Fag? Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200." Makes me wonder what that Fort Worth resident thinks about "colored folk".
