Profoundly important, since judges are charged with, basically, the most important duty in society and hold peoples' lives in their hands every day and b. Everybody's watching, especially the lawyerly crowd, and everybody knows there are serious problems at the Broward Courthouse. With Seidlin, it's going to get national attention. A slipshod whitewash would produce a helluva lot of outrage and wouldn't be forgotten for a long, long time. And, for what it's worth, Rundle does have a better track record for prosecuting public corruption than most (especially compared to her counterpart directly north).

If you'd look at Broward County history, even from a distance, you can clearly see that the Broward State Attorney does not do his job in such matters.
