New York Times Sometimes Bites

When the Gray Lady is really good, she's really good. But when she's bad, she's spectacularly bad, too. For a case in point, check out this story about the Miami trial of alleged wannabe dirty bomber Jose Padilla and his alleged recruiter, Adham Hassoun. It reads at times like a satire of what a blasé, disaffected, pseudo-sophisticated New York Times scribbler might write. There's some good stuff sprinked about, but use of the term "sartorial" in the headline seems to be meant as a synonym for "stupid."

But don't take my word for it. The District of South Florida Blog has a great send-up of the story, both the good and the bad. Enjoy.
