Herald Pulls Anonymous Letter

I knew it. When the Herald published the anonymous letter about Hollywood Maj. James Jones, aka Jimmy, on its web site, I made sure to print out a physical copy. Why? Because I had a hunch the newspaper wouldn't be linking it for long and I didn't feel like going through the city to get it. The letter, which had an undeniable air of authority and knowledge about it, was too edgy and the allegations in it hadn't been reported out.

I've heard the Hollywood P.D. brass threw a huge stink -- and the Herald caved. Journalistically, it's hard to fault the editors for pulling the letter. Where they would be remiss is if they don't investigate the matter. More to come, I hope.

(By the way, the link below still works if you want to read the letter).
