It's an "Only In South Florida" day, folks. The second professional coach has stepped down in the space of, oh, four hours. Pat Riley, who is one of the worst losers of all time (meaning that he's very bad at losing), couldn't take it anymore. He announced today that he's taking a "leave of absence" for health reasons, according to the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman.
Yeah, because of the poor health of Shaq and Wade, maybe.
Can we have Stan Van Gundy back? I mean, shit, he's got to be sick and tired of all that quality family time by now.
