• Didn't mean superior to your post, Dan, but to MY post, which I think is quite obvious. Your posts ruled (seriously), but as for your pox, well I think I've got three other poxes already roosting at my house that'll kick its ass.

I beg to differ, sir! 1) My original post on this subject came out the day before Riptide's. 2) I avoided the obvious "pro-Jeb, but only ironically" tone. Superior indeed! Fah! A pox on both your houses. By the way, re: Jeremy's comment, there's a world of difference between liberalism and neo-liberalism, which is an economic policy that stresses deregulation, globalization and the avoidance of government intervention in domestic economics, as well as opening foreign markets by more or less any means necessary.

• Jeb. It's OK to come out of the closet. And bring Tom Cruise with you please.

• If they were peaceful protestors, why then would the police resort to an electronic weapon to subdue them? If they in fact needed a few thousand volts to encourage them to stop whatever they were doing, were they charged with anything? If they were not charged with disorderly or dangerous conduct then we are certainly living in a whole new level of police state if the new way to request a person to "move along, nothing to see here", is to shoot them with high voltage electricity.

• Hey Bob, Calvin and I joked fairly extensively about it on Riptide a couple of days ago but editor inexplicably posted it with a stock photo of Jeb instead of the closet picture, even though we had the latter in our posession. I'm glad you put it up. It's silly.
