Foley Blames Demon Alcohol

Mark Foley has entered rehab with these words:
"Painfully, the events that led to my resignation have crystallized recognition of my longstanding significant alcohol and emotional difficulties. I strongly believe that I am an alcoholic and have accepted the need for immediate treatment for alcoholism and related behavioral problems."
Brilliant. You see, now he can say he's not just a pervert, but he's got a bona fide disease: alcoholism. Maybe he is a drunk, but it's still those "related behavioral problems" that are turning the United States Congress upside-down right now.
