When was this flight to Aruba? Recently? Thanks!

Why would they need a cadaver dog, and who travelled with the dog? FBI, investigator for the family? Seems strange that person would give out this information.

But I still will not go near Aruba (and wish other concerned US citizens would avoid it, too) until they get their act together and arrest the perpetrator. No one is safe in a resort area where legal protection is afforded to the rich and powerful at the cost of human lives.

I guess these two "professionals" weren't interested in keeping their jobs. Was the dog handler just trying to impress the flight attendant? Who is the flight attendant trying to impress by spilling this "confidential" information? They sound like a couple of idiots.

You don't declare a body has been "found" when you are just at the stage of using a dog to find them. This story is all kinds of wrong and your headline is especially misleading. Your source didn't actually tell you a body was found.

I agree about them not keeping this quiet as she said. Also, if someone "talked" it would give them a location to look at with this dog.

It still doesn't really make much sense to me. If you have a location where you thnk her body is, which would be bones by now, how is a dog going to help?

Either the remains are there or they aren't. If you think her remains might be somewhere then wouldn't you attempt to uncover them without flying in some cadaver dog from Florida?

Also, Aruba isn't a part of USA and there are plenty of excellent trained policedogs for all kind of duties in the Netherlands. Maybe use the USA dogs on the thousands of people missing USA itself.

Some facts:

1. Grandeur is actually antithetical to Dutch culture. People treat you like an intellectual inferior because your arguments make no sense.

A cadaver canine would be used to locate scattered remains. Scattering occurs over a period of time when a body is compromised by scavenger animals who will take parts in an attempt to hide or hoard them from other scavengers. Canines are useful in tracking these and locating these parts.

Aruba investigators have been criticized for failing to find a body or a suspect in the teenager's disappearance. The previous just makes me real mad! First of all, its not spelled correctly and now secondly, I am from Aruba and Ive seen ALOT of American teenagers go out. They get drunk even if they are with their parents. I find this unapropriate to say something like this because both Holland and US helped in the investagation but because Aruba is a small island, and apparently N.H.'s mother has money, Aruba cant do nothing. Alot of people just don't care about anybody else unless something happens to one their family memebers. Have some compassion for a lost family memeber, a possibly dead familt memeber. This story that hit headline is a joke just like Fred with his dog (4th time in Aruba with dog) but I give him credit for trying and Natalee's Dad gets 100% of my heart for being there all the time and never giving up . The Mother wanted death certificate within 2 weeks, a little to early I would add including murdered, dead, drugged, raped and all the other things against Aruba. The handler was not an "Officer", and I seriously doubt that the handler said Ms. Holloway had been found.

We are from US, sister-in-law from Netherlands (she chooses to live in US), AND just got back from Aruba last week on a family vacation. The Dutch are nothing like the Arubians. Those I met are very nice but so is my sister-in-law. There are more good Americans that bad. Also, my observation was 80-90% of the tourist in Aruba were American and they are glad to take our money. The world economy is so intertwined that wishing one to fail is wishing it on your own. Can't everyone just get along...conversation bashing each country is unproductive.

You people that are saying don't go to Aruba, wow. My grandparents are US citizens but have a house in Aruba also and I have been going there since I was six months old. I would spend whole summers, two months, in Aruba. I am now seventeen, nineteen in june, and nothing has happened. Nothing is different in Aruba than it is here. A lot of Arubians are very nice, while others arnt. That is just like here, some americans are nice, while others are not. I have a lot of friends in Aruba. I don't believe Joran's version about the seizure I believe he murdered her and disposed of her body. I don't know how or where only he knows. He made a comment about if the body was to be found that he would be in trouble or it would create a problem for him. The guy couldn't get his story straight, he kept coming up with different versions. How are people sure that ANY of them are actually true? He's a pathologicial liar. Some unanswered questions..the police checked the phone records of Deepak to confirm the phone call made by Joran but did they dump Joran phone records for the entire night/morning to see if he called anyone else? Hmm, could be helpful. Did they collect Joran's clothes from that night to preserve evidence, and why no shoes, perhaps because he left them on the boat and could not go back to the beach to get them because they were not there, or he lost them during the body? It is not a very big island if it has not been done already cadaver dogs could do a grid search of the island in a few weeks and if she is buried anyplace on that island they would find her. I understand the funding for this has 'run out' but a lot of cadaver dogs are owned by private citizens and not the police or FBI it would be interesting to see several of this private citizens and their cadaver dogs go over the island with a fine tooth comb and see what turns up. It would have been prudent to use scent dogs immediately after the disappearence. A scent dog smells a piece of recently worn clothing by the missing person and can 'track' where that person went and what path she followed. Unfortunately, if she was put in a car or the boat then the track would go cold at that point,, but at least they would have had an idea of where she was up until she disappeared, can't trust the last person seen with her. Also, I don't think her girlfriends know more than they are telling. Sometimes girlfriends do let their best friends do stupid things, because they were all drinking, not thinking and every young girl thinks nothing bad will happen to them, it happends to other peopple. I see it everyday, "we never thought that could happen to us or someone we know". Okay and give Aruba a break, I mean obviously the police were unexperienced to handle this investigation, they just didn't have enough experience, it happens here in the United States more than anyplace, think Jonbenet Ramsey 1996, think OJ Simpson, and those are just the big cases, any big city has hundreds of unsolved murders, and missing people, it is a sad truth but it happens everyplace in every country in the world.

I watched the movie last night, and yelled at GOD, why he doesnt help the mom have closure. I know what i would like to do to that peice of shit father and son. Actually, if Natalie was a heavy drinker and used drugs before she went to Aruba then she would not have gotten so drunk, and been so messed up. You build up a tollerance and thus it takes more alcohol to get you drunk, judging from her behavior in Aruba she was a 'party' virgin and well as most of us know that went to college know your first time major partying usually ends up bad (hung over wake up naked next to to someone you don't know and can't wouldn't look at twice sober). Let's not forget that she did not take the drug willingly, it was put into her drink without her knowledge, which happens all the time and usually never gets reported because girls don't even realize they were drugged. Yes, she drank (to much) and did the ultimate dumb thing (get in the car with a bunch of idiot boys) but she is the victim here, whether she put herself in that position or not he chose to take advantage of that poor girl. He chose to drug her to get laid, and it backfired on him by causing her seizure. If she had taken drugs and alcohol before then she probably would have had a seizure before this, but I think it was her first time 'cutting loose' like she did. I'm sure her friends regret letting her go with those boys and think about it everyday that they should have insisted she come with them, but from what I've read in the police reports they have the same story that she was in the car and pulling away when she told them she was going back to the hotel with the boys. It is truely sad, he is a preditor all those girls are just his prey that he lays in wait for. Since so much 'lawlessness' goes on in Aruba I would have kidnapped him taken him to one of those crack houses and beat it out of him.

every night it's the same dream...natalee and joran get out of a light four door car, they walk down to the beach, his arm around her waist her head on his shoulder, just another happy couple walking on the beach. They stop in a private area, they kiss and he asks if she wants to have sex but he doesn't have a condoms (interesting that according to the boys she was so drunk she could barely walk, but she was sober enough to say no to unprotected sex, hmm....)she tells him not to get mad that she'll take care of it. Joran tells him that it was an accident, that he didn't mean to to hurt her, and joran wants to call the police, but the man says 'no, you will go to jail' and again Joran says it was an accident 'I didn't mean to do it, they will see it was an accident' and the man says 'no, it is second degree murder, manslaughter at least, you will go to jail. Get her feet, we will take her out in the ocean, dump her in, by the time she washes ashore all the evidence will be gone.' They carry her down the beach, put her in a boat and drive out. They push her over, Joran loses a shoe and the other man tells him to 'leave it'. They drive back towards the shore, Joran gets out, the other man stays in the boat tells him 'call your friend to come get you, go to school tomorrow and pretend it never happened.' then he drives away in the boat. The dream is always the same, if the police can find that boat Joran's other shoe was still in the boat, maybe they can get some evidence from that?

Of course the movie Taken was the Natalee Holloway story...Marked by the set up man; taken to a particular location; then snatched and then sold on auction..But to reveal the truth would be to say the government doesn't care about us; we won't turn on our allies like the Dutch (no matter how evil they really are), the purchasers of our women like Central America or Arab countries (like Venezuela or Saudi Arabia).
We have to wake up and realize that they are all evil and all about the money. No government cares about the people anymore. We are the pawns, the sheep and the means to money, power and votes.

What if Joran did leave her on the beach after he was finished with her. If he got his way there was no reason to kill her.

Have any of you ever been on a beach with a drunk who didn't want to go back yet? Walk away. Someone else walked away with her.

No trace of her has been found yet. Maybe someone dispatched another airplane that fateful night because the girl wasn't doing what she was told to do.

If the mother can get from Hot Springs, AK to B'Ham to Aruba in 10 hours, then they could have dispatched one of the many airplanes at their beconing to pick up the wayward girl messing up a whole lot more than throwing up in the back seat of a car.

There is a whole lot more to this sad saga that has not been talked about yet or examined for connections.

Natalee lived two blocks from M/B in Cahaba Heights. Everyone wants to live in M/B for the status. I think Overton Road is the deviding line.

Natalee step family is not rich. They travel in style but Natalee had to work and pay her part of the money for the trip. If they are rich it is because of the donations that came in from all over the world to help find her after the fact.

After going through and reading some of the commits here, It makes me sad to think that people are downing countries and what goes on there when this is about a young girl not a country. Every country has crime. I live in the US and I don't like the crime that goes on here. Some of you are right.
