As a licensed talent agent, event coordinator & promoter in South Florida for almost 20 years now, I could easily submit nominations for dozen of folks worthy of this award for various reasons, but one particular individual stands out in my mind as the most deserving: Donna Paul, who is not only an incredibly gifted photographer and graphic artist but who also has the most generous soul, continuously volunteering her time and lending her talent relentlessly, tirelessly, without hesitation and, for the majority of time without any compensation for musicians, bands, artists, children's organizations and for benefits and non-profit organizations.

Hundreds of South Florida musicians have Donna's photos on their websites and in their personal galleries. Dozens of bands use Donna Paul photos as their promotional shots. They, like I, appreciate not only her ability to take a great shot, but to capture a moment, their personality and their passion. You can almost hear the music in her photos. She doesn't just "take pictures" ... she waits, she watches, she listens to and feels the music, she anticipates, she shoots... and when she captures that special moment, her face lights up, you can hear her mutter "yesssss!" She has told me getting that "perfect shot" is "better than sex." I believe her.

As a lover of Fine art, and Artists like Chuck Close, Paul Goodnight, Jackson Pollack, Wassily Kandinsky. .. Rick Shows Promise that embodies a potential to edify that promise.

Well I have known Rick for about 14 years. But his artwork was not a thing that defined our long friendship. Well talk women sexuality and sports and we differ alot in those respects amongst other things.

In turn he has never held back how he feels. He is always passionate about his point of view and he shows emotion in what he speaks. Thus these are the same qualities that speak volumes in his artwork.

Passion, Emotion and Persistence and Consistency. When I saw his recent work last week I commissioned to do a Family Portrait Picasso Style and it looks amazing! As my painting isn't done and its still on its way. He is so Busy catering to more than one client or commission, that He usually works on 2 or 3 pieces at a time.

Yes some people Showcase SO MUCH artwork on their sites all at once. How can I view all that work all at one shot. But I know that just a look at some of his best Photography and Fine Art Work Not to mention is Graphic Designs, HE GETS THIS AWARD BAR-NONE.

My Nomination/Vote Goes to Rick Sainvil.
Never tiresome when it comes to Art and His Community and a vision for a better show of Ft. Lauderdale as an Art Capitol.

As one of my former students, Rick was most of the time ahead of the pack so to speak as far as ideas, media use and mixing medias in some performances pieces we did then in 2007 and 2008 at Full Sail University.
