Show at Churchill's Tomorrow Night to Benefit GOO, New All-Ages Venue
By Arielle Castillo in Concert Preview
Thursday, Jan. 8 2009 @ 2:42PM
Since the closing of the Alley, many of the all-ages gaps in shows have been filled in by Andrew Santa Lucia, with his Andrew's House of Pain. He's ceasing operations in support of the new venue, and reports being really excited about its possibilities.
Not to be overshadowed by the cause behind the event, this is
Shitstorm's first show in a good long while. The grind trio is
comprised of two-thirds of Miami's hit sensations Torche, and is
fronted by P-dub of Mehkago NT. Also on the lineup are Consular,
Maruta, Merkit, Homestretch, The Low Life and Maldito. It will be
interesting to see how many actually pay the entrance fee in a scene
whose fans are known for sneaking in, even to their own friends' shows.
Friday, January 9. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., admission is $6. Ages 18+ with ID. 305-757-1807; www.churchillspub.com.
