Savannah's the Train Wrecks leave out lyrics about pickup trucks in favor of a more gritty, traditional style of country music. 5. Monterey at Kreepy Tiki
10 p.m., rock show at the Montery Club, 2608 S. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale. $5. Visit Facebook.

So, very recently, the newly revamped bar in Kreepy Tiki Tattoos in Fort Lauderdale started selling liquor. This is big news because nothing goes quite as well with rock and roll as whisky or vodka, or tequila, depending on what subgenre you're rocking out to. Anyway, tonight you can suck down some booze to the sounds of: Hinesight from Texas, West Palm's Amplifier Orgy, FTL's Fantastic 5, and Miami's Fulltime Motherfucker. Get crunk.

5. Raggy Monster at Feast of the Sea
11 a.m., Saturday, September 13, at Meyer Amphitheater, South Flagler Dr., West Palm Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook.

What do fish and music have in common? A lot more than you think (and no, we're not just talking about the shared heteronym, bass). To consume either brings most people great joy. And both will be featured on a platter at Feast of the Sea. Taking place at West Palm's Meyer Amphitheater, you can chow on a creature harvested from the Atlantic and enjoy some impressive local acts. There's reggae band Spred The Dub, alt funk folks the People Upstairs, bluegrass inspired Killbillies, and the eclectic Raggy Monster.

And in more good news, unlike the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, this event is free.

5. Danny D'Brito Live at Il Bacio
10 p.m., Friday, September 5, at Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge, 29 SE 2 Ave., Delray Beach. No cover before 11. Visit Facebook.
Just because Labor Day passed and Starbucks is stocking up on pumpkin lattes doesn't mean summer's over just yet. Delray Beach's Il Bacio embraces the hottest season of the year, dragging it out at least another week, with a bikini fashion show presented by Skin Swim Briana Deluca.

In typical South Florida style, the party doesn't stop when the last model walks off stage. Live sets by DJ Brett Sylvia and Danny D'Brito of Brass Knuckles keep the party going all night long.

Pull out the neon leggings, an elbow length's worth of bangles, and load on some hairspray for that '80s permed look this John Hughes-inspired Pretty in Pink '80s dance party requires you look the part. Nostalgia will be in full effect while you watch clips from the legendary flick and swaying to South Florida's only Smiths and Morrissey tribute band, Ordinary Boys. Molly Ringwald lookalikes are most definitely welcome at this party, and will be especially popular at the slow dance couples competition.

A familiar event for those who regularly read our five under $5 lists, Flaunt is a dance party well worth the hype. The usual cheap drinks abound: $2 PBRs are $1 before 11 p.m. and $3 Flaunt shots. But the talent is always changing. Tonight, on display will be the live sounds of Peace Arrow and Sunghosts.
