4. Synesthesia
5 p.m., Saturday, August 2, at Unity 88, 4028 NE 6 Ave., Oakland Park. $5 cover. Visit Facebook.
Synesthesia is a condition where senses get intertwined, like when you start hearing colors or seeing sounds. It's also the name of Unity 88's second ever monthly art show this Saturday night. This event is sure to utilize and confuse all five of your senses. The the theme this month is "the Love of Music" and it includes an infusion of food from El Guanacuo, live music, and art -- all local, of course. Joshua Tikitin, Ryan J Huseman, and Living Strange will bring the music and participating artists include K-lee Art, Cory Marcotte, and Matthew Grommet.
