Five Things To Do Under $5 This Weekend

Categories: Things To Do

5. Friday Miami Vice, featuring Crespo & Mister Gray at Monarchy Nightclub
10 p.m. Friday, April 25, Monarchy Nightclub, 221 Clematis St., West Palm Beach.
Visit Facebook. No cover before 11 p.m.

The event may say Miami, but the party is West Palm. Think of a 305-vibe minus the bad traffic and pumped up on the surfer energy. There will be music by DJs Crespo and Mister Gray. Plus, guys and girls get in for free before 11, so you don't have to worry about leaving your man-on-a-budget behind, ladies. And ladies who arrive before midnight drink free all night long.

4. Surfers for Autism Beach Festival
6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 25 to 26, at 149 SE 21 Ave., Deerfield Beach. Visit Facebook. No cover.

Working with local artists, Surfers for Autism has organized this beach festival to help out children and young adults with special needs. Highly trained surfers guide kids into the water and teach them how to surf. There's no cover and food trucks, exhibitors and beverage vendors will abound. Come through to see local acts such as Stratolites, Bushwood, Making Faces, a Tom Petty tribute act, and more. Trust us, you'll feel better and look tanner after.
