It's 3 a.m. and you're all alone. One might even say that you're lonely. There's only one song playing over and over in your head, and it's one of Matchbox Twenty's.
That's right. The 1996 hit "3 AM" and more than a handful of others played by this Orlando group are forever part of our lives. Maybe ten generations down the line, some child will be born without their songs ingrained in their psyche, but until then, we will sing: "She says it's cold outside, and she hands me my raincoat/She's always worried about things like that."
Matchbox Twenty released an album last year North, which will likely be enjoyed by you or someone like you, and is performing at Hard Rock Live this March. Who knows, maybe Carlos Santana will show up to team up with Rob Thomas on "Smooth?" Would be regionally appropriate. Click on to see how to win your own pair of tickets.
Last Matchbox concert I attended ROB was sick and never came out after Sugar Ray. Broke my heart!!! When I saw Rob on LIVE with Kelly a few months back my heart did a somersault !! He did great as a co-host. I would LOVE to see him finally!!!!
I saw matchbox20 at The Theater on US1 and Oakland before they were famous (tickets cost $2) and I have followed their career ever since. I REALLY hope to win the tickets!
I would absolutely love to see Matchbox Twenty live... to not only get out of the house for once, but truly to reminisce on the good old days when musicians were that much better and talented than they are nowadays. Oh 90s how I miss thee!
What would you say the chances are of a girl like me, and a guy like you getting tickets to MB20? Not good. Not good like one in a hundred? Not good like one in a thousand? I've come a long way County Grind. The least you can do is level with me. More like one in a million. So you're saying there's a chance!!!
Would love to win these tickets! Thanks for the opportunity to enter. If I won I'd definitely be swooning over Rob Thomas hehe! BIG THANKS :) fingers crossed!
