Who is Jake Miller you ask?

Well, if you are a 13 year old girl, or you wake up every morning just to watch MTV, (or somebody is paying you to), then you already know.

He's the South Florida pop rapper with millions of YouTube views, a freshly inked record deal, and a music video that just premiered on national broadcast cable television.

He's also playing America's Backyard in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, February 15.

With "A Million Lives," Miller, who started penning raps in the 10th grade, tells the inspirational story of reaching fans, like a cancer survivor, and a bullied 7th grader, through his music, and touching millions of lives, despite not yet having made millions of dollars.

His positive raps are inspired by Eminem, Lil' Wayne, and N'Sync; artists he grew up listening to.

Born in 1992, Miller was an honor student who worked hard throughout high school and was accepted to FSU before deciding to pursue music full time instead of going to college.

He recently signed a record contract with E-One in New York City and is currently on a national tour which will bring him back home to South Florida.

The Weston native has written songs for the Miami Heat, been featured on Deco Drive, shot a music video in Wynwood, and shown love to the U. This local kid could be the next Justin Bieber.

Jake Miller with Vers and Deja Eyze. 6:30 p.m., at America's Backyard, 100 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets cost $17. It's all ages
