It's the story of the South Florida art scene, with Miami against, well, basically everyone else. Wynwood-based Locust Projects is seeking to bridge that gap this weekend with a special field trip north of the Dade County line. The Miami gallery and project space organized a Palm Beach County tour that includes a stop at the home of Beth Rudin Dewoody to look at the contemporary art collection of gallerist Sarah Gavlak. - Tricia Woolfenden

Thought Coalition and American Sweatshop will oversee the completion of live drawing by artists like Paul McEnery, Shane Watt, and Brown, plus others as a fundraiser for the Sickle Cell Natural Wellness Group (SCNWG).
