Categories: Artsy Fartsy

Friday, March 1

5:00 p.m. Friday @ War Memorial Auditorium, 800 NE Eighth St. in Fort Lauderdale. Free. Facebook.com/indiecraftbazaar.
From the folks who bring you the City-Wide Market monthly at the War Memorial Auditorium, the Night Owl Market (which takes place as part of the FAT Village Art Walk the last Saturday of the month -- next one March 30), and the Indie Craft Bazaar (which takes place at Revolution Live and Green Room every other month -- the next one is in April) comes something crafty with a little twist. There will be food trucks and local green market food vendors as well as many of the indie vendors participating in the market over the weekend.

7:00 p.m. Friday @ Arts Garage, 180 NE First St. in Delray Beach. $20 for students, $30 regular, and $45 for premium seating. Call 561-450-6357, or visit artsgarage.org.
Complete with heels, glamor, and more glitter than a stripper pole, Drag Bingo will include not only performances by the Voices of Pride queens but also prizes, a raffle, and a surprise auction. - Tana Velen

Saturday, March 2

The 30th-annual Southeast Florida Scottish Festival and Games highlights many Scottish cultural activities: pipe bands, heavy athletics, country dancing, clans, societies, fiddling, singing, piping and drumming competitions, highland dancing, sheep-herding, food, drink, and shopping.  - Sara Ventiera

6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday @ Lucky's Tavern, 214 SW Second St. in Fort Lauderdale. $25 at the door or $20 in advance. Fortlauderdalebarcrawl.com.
Every city has its nickname. New York is the Big Apple. New Orleans, the Big Easy. Philly is the City of Brotherly Love. And then there's Fort Lauderdale, a.k.a. Fort Liquordale. Obviously, we're best-known for one thing -- drinking. So it would be rather fitting that the city named after such bar-centered activities would have its own bar crawl. Now it does. - Sara Ventiera
