| Revel On The Block comes to FAT Village Saturday. |
Every week we put together a carefully curated lists of the best events in Broward and Palm Beach counties. We look for the weird, the funny, the meaningful, the loud, and the varied. And then we look for as many ways as possible to let our readers know about those events.

Saturday, January 26
2 to 11 p.m. FATVillage, NW Fifth Street, Fort Lauderdale. Admission is free.
Last year's Build a Better Block event was such a success, that the creative team behind it -- Cadence Living, a local landscape architecture firm -- decided to make a recurring biannual event. Thus, Revel on the Block was born.
By using art installments to re-imagine human habitats, they pull back the smog and misery and reveal a livable, friendly landscape; people walking where cars once drove, art hanging on once empty walls.
7 p.m. to midnight. The Bubble, 810 NE Fourth Ave., Fort Lauderdale. $10
According to the bio on Christopher Ian Macfarlane's blog page, crapbychris.com, the young
artist is just "a dude who likes to make art." Haunted Mirror Forrest marks Macfarlane's debut exhibition and is a culmination of a lifetime spent mastering his craft. Suede Dudes, Pocket of Lollipops, Kenny Millions, and many more bands will be providing the musical delight.
