Aging in the public eye sucks. You get wrinkly where you were once taut, you have backing jazz bands where long-haired rock gods once stood. But it's also a real pain in the ass when you're a young kid, idolized for your youth, talent, and attractiveness, and you've got to grow up while all eyes are on you.
We're certain no one's really spending their days pitying Justin Bieber, but it's not like the guy deserves none. Sure his star power has attracted collaborations with some of hip-hop's biggest producers and musicians, and yeah, he's the most famous 18-year old ever. But in the recent Rolling Stone cover story on the Biebs, it's clear he has no privacy: "Up on a hill, on the other side of a fence, two paparazzi are snapping pictures with telephoto lenses. Someone at the course must have tipped them off. Instantly, Bieber's mood darkens."
And even worse, the guy takes a toke and little girls start cutting themselves in protest. OK, so that was a hoax, but it could have been real! Well, maybe not. Either way, it can't be easy being anyone's "Boyfriend" or getting lame tattoos when the whole world's commenting. But for big boy Biebs, the show must go on. Miami's preparing to get steamy with Bieber fever this week. Moms, gay cousins, and tweens will likely all take their tops off for the singer at his upcoming American Airlines Arena show. If you attend, beware of training bra and D&G tank sightings.
7 p.m., at Propaganda, 6 South J Street, Lake Worth. Tickets cost $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Visit Facebook invite.

We were psyched to see WPB rapper Will Brennan had signed to Steve Aoki's Dim Mak records. Sure we named him number one on our list of best Palm Beach County rappers, but to see him hit it real big fills our sweaty SoFla hearts with pride.
