Johnny Marr's first solo album, The Messenger
The 1980s' most influential guitarist, Johnny Marr, will put out his first solo album in 2013. After founding the Smiths and playing on Modest Mouse's last release, Johnny Marr tries to do it alone. The first single, also titled "The Messenger," is vintage Britpop.

Dr. Dre's new album Detox
Now that Brian Wilson finally released a version of Smile and Axl Rose brought out Chinese Democracy, Dr. Dre's Detox holds the title of longest-awaited album. Dre first announced what he said would be his final album in early 2000.
