Progressive house DJs Swedish House Mafia are announcing their untimely retirement at very young age, but not before first headlining Ultra Music Festival in 2013.
The three Swedes announced their appropriately titled "One Last Tour" this August, and this year in Downtown Miami, they'll play their last two dates ever! As you crazy EDM-heads already know, the glow sticks'll be glowing and the molly poppin' for two insane weekends this March instead of a measly one. SHM will perform both opening and closing sets.
Oddly enough, the DJs made their North American debut at the festival in 2010. According to a press release, someone from the band says:
"Ultra was the first place we really built a show for a main stage. We filmed the whole thing and we played 'ONE' for the first time on that stage. It was a moment we would never forget and became the closing scene in our film, Take One. The energy of the crowd was unbelievable and the fact that it's part of Miami Music Week where so much new music is born made it even more special. It just felt right that we finished where so much was started and we're honored to open and close the festival.''
