Trick or treat, smell our feet, give us something with a fat-ass beat.
That's what we were singing on our way into Revolution Live last night for a Halloween edition of Electrik Circus. Thankfully we weren't let down in the slightest. There was none of that cheap, knock-off, dance floor bullshit. We left feeling more than satisfied, so there was no need to toilet paper any trees.
As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by the trunk-rattling bass of R. L. Grimes, one of the trappiest trappers in the game right now, not to mention one with a totally in-theme name for Halloween. He was laying down some sick hood beats and going straight ratchet behind the decks. For a minute, we were afraid he was going to break the table he was rockin' so hard.
R. L. Grime went in on some Flosstradamus, Baauer, Dillon Francis. He even dropped Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" which had all the girls on the floor freakin. But by 11:45, his time was almost up.
"By the way, make some noise for yourselves right now," he said into the mic as we killed it with T.I.'s "What You Know." "Thank you guys so fuckin' much."
