It's no secret the Black Locust Society crew knows how to throw a party. It did win the Best Nightlife Award for its Swarm event series. So it's also no surprise that in celebration of the world ending on 12-21-12, it's throwing the one party you definitely won't want to miss.

In the past, the Black Locust Society has relied on its own funds to support what goes down at these legendary warehouse parties. And while they aren't complaining, members of the BLS crew want to take Swarm 2012 to the next level. This is where you come in.

On Saturday, December 1, the Black Locust Society is holding a fundraiser to make the next installment of Swarm even bigger and better than the last seven. Held at the Green Room, live performances will include the Gun Hoes, the Casey Hopkins Duo, some of the BLS usual suspects, and any other tricks they have up their sleeves.

In preparation for the event, we asked Black Locust Society organizers to share with us their favorite Swarm moments.

5. Bleubird: "My fave moment was easily during Swarm666. It was pissing rain outside, and we were all jammed into the warehouse watching Astronautalis' explosive set. We had spent hours constructing a giant cardboard locust, filled it with balloons and candy, and suspended it from the ceiling above the crowd. Just as the band began to play 'Trouble Hunters,' somebody yelled 'PULL THE CORD!!!' and the entire place went nuts."

4. Protoman: "Has to be Gaps getting a fade (onstage) during the BLS All-Star Set. Swarm 7, Spring Break Forever. Barber chair and all!!!"
