George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic Perform Live at Revolution, Fort Lauderdale
If you've never seen George Clinton and his musical collective Parliament-Funkadelic perform live, then, friend, sorry to say, but you have never had the funk. This funk is nothing like the stale armpit kinda funk. This funk has soul, scope, and depth. This funk will make you dance till your feet feel funny and your brain is numb. It sounds like dipping into a jacuzzi filled with rum punch while still wearing your sequined dress from the night before... In outer-space. This is how we feel the funk.
We just got news that Clinton's bringing the whole crew to Fort Lauderdale's Revolution Live on October 25. It's the perfect venue for a P-Funk show, intimate, but big enough to fit the mothership.
Parliament-Funkadelic will lube you up while whatever drugs you've consumed kick in, and then George will emerge. This interlude will also give you ample time to bet on what fabulous ensemble Clinton will be donning that particular evening. What color his hair will be that night, stuff of that nature.
It's an all ages gig, so bring your funky lil babies and grannies. Under no circumstances, though, should you smell anyone's finger, even if they say it's in the spirit of the groove.
