Maria Louise Del Rosario may not be known as the "Butthole Tattoo Girl" much longer. She says she's got a beautiful singing voice, and it's just one of the many talents she wants to share with the world. One of her greatest musical inspirations is Rihanna's song "Hard," but when it comes to "Killing Me Softly," she says, "I can sing better than that bitch Lauryn Hill, even my friend said so."

We caught up with Maria to find out about the new crown of thorns tattoo she got around her butthole, over the two names that were already there, and her potential new role as a songstress.

New Times: Wasup? How's it going?

Maria Louise Del Rosario: Hey, I gotta tell you, it's funny, but you twisted my words around for our last interview. The girl in jail called me "Thick Shit," like t-h-i-c-k. Not "Dick Shit," like you said.

So, it's been a couple weeks now since the South Florida Tattoo Expo. What's with you?

I'm on my way walking to the train station to go get the love of my life. I met him last night on the phone. We stayed up talking all night. We literally didn't sleep. He pulled some slick shit and said he met me before.

Are you gonna get his name tattooed on your butthole?

No. I'm gonna get it tattooed on my finger.
