Raekwon - Revolution Live - April 6
![]() |
After performances of "Glaciers Of Ice" and his feature of "Eye For An Eye," Rae took time out to embrace Ol' Dirty Bastard's memory when he admitted, "Ohhh baby I like it raw," giving a less animated performance of the ODB single, but of course, who's as animated as ODB?
Toward the end of the show, Rae brought out Kofi Black, a singer off his Ice H20 label. Black performed one song as Rae sat in front of the DJ. Admitting he needed to promote Black more, the rapper signed off on the singer's request to perform another song.
Ending the night on a high note, besides those coming from
Black, Rae signed off by performing 1997's "Triumph," a performance that
resembled all prior songs, with Raekwon taking minimal steps and staying in a
comfort zone.
Critic's Notebook
The Crowd: Don't come if you're under 25 years old and with a Wu-Tang shirt
Wish List: What? No "Catalina"?
Personal Bias: The
lack of movement from Raekwon made for an uneventful concert.
